The RadioWavz 1:1 designed to handle full legal power with a low standing wave radio (SWR). It has 1 to 1 impedance ratio. The Voltage BALUN is a Tri filler Air Core BALUN. This is one of the most common BALUN designs. 1.8 Mhz to 30 MHz with low energy loss. Typically insertion loss is less than 0.2 dB One of the strongest features is the fact that the BALUN utilizes an open air core. the air-core of the tri filler won’t saturate like the ferrite core and, unlike ferrite-core wire-wound baluns, single-layer wound baluns almost never have an insulation breakdown problem. Also, a tri filler wound BALUN does not like to work into anything but a perfectly balanced load. With an imperfectly balanced load, the coax-balun will not, as does the tri filler balun, generate a differential, third RF-current on the outside of the coax that brings the RF to the input of the tuner.
