Description
10D-FB-Lite DIA: A high-quality 10D-FB cable (Ø13 mm) is widely used in cellular amplification systems as well as for switching various RF devices operating at frequencies up to 6 GHz. This cable version has a center conductor made of copper-clad aluminum (CCA).
The main difference between the 10D-FB cable and the cheap RG-58 series is the significant reduction in loss of the RF signal. When using cheap RG-58 cables, unwanted attenuation is already noticeable at 10-15 meters of cable length. With the 10D-FB cable, the cable length can be up to 50 – 100 meters while the end device (repeater, router, or cellular modem) still receives sufficient signal strength. The main advantage of the 10D-FB cable is its very low signal attenuation. Compared to the 5D-FB cable, the 10D-FB has almost 2 times lower signal attenuation, and 4 times lower compared to RG-58. The main disadvantage of the 10D-FB is the complexity of installation due to the thickness of the cable (jacket diameter is 13 mm) and the large bending radius.
Approximate cable length: 7m
Fitted with: N-Male / N-Female connectors
Features:
Made in Japan: Fujikura
FB type low-loss high-frequency coaxial cable for amateur radio
Low loss even at high bandwidths due to the use of foamed polyethylene for insulation.
It is lightweight because it uses copper-clad aluminum wire for the internal conductor.
The standing wave ratio is small over a wide bandwidth.
The outer conductor has a double structure of aluminum foil-attached plastic tape and braided material, which provides both shielding properties and flexibility.
Since the conductor resistance is small and power loss is minimal, it is suitable for long cable lengths.
High-quality matte vinyl sheath is used as standard.
The amount of restricted substances under the RoHS Directive is below the specified value.
Stable transmission characteristics with little change over time.
FB type has excellent shielding due to double shield structure, so it is less affected by external noise and minimizes radio wave leakage to the outside.
Lightweight and braided type with good bending characteristics and easy handling.
FBE type is a polyethylene sheath product that emphasizes weather resistance and water resistance when used outdoors.
It is lighter than the conventional 10D-FB and uses copper clad aluminum wire (CA) for the central conductor.
Improved reliability of terminal connections. No increase in resistance due to oxide formation when connecting aluminum conductors. The conductor connection method is the same as for copper conductors.
Suitable for connecting a base station antenna, repeater, coupler or splitter
Professional HF 13mm cable made in accordance with fire protection requirements (LSZH jacket)
Applications
Pacing systems, simple mobile phones, mobile phones, wireless LAN, RFID communications, commercial radio, amateur radio, etc., connection of a wide range of wireless communications and high-frequency devices, and internal wiring
