GP-1N: The Comet GP-1N is a high gain dual band antenna designed for the 144MHz and 430MHz frequencies. It is comparable to the Diamond X-30N and offers high quality workmanship. The antenna does not require subsequent tuning (SWR) and is suitable for mast mounting. Featuring Comet’s SLC system (super linear converter), this compact base antenna ensures low loss and high efficiency. It provides wide band coverage, eliminating the need for tuning in both bands. The antenna is made of high quality fiberglass, making it waterproof and durable. For full duplex operation, a Comet duplexer can be used in conjunction with the GP-1N.
