GP-93N: The Comet GP-93 is a brand new 3-Band base colinear antenna, fiberglass construction, and the length is a comfortable 1.78m, gives great performance on 2m\/70cms and 23cms. Comet GP-93 uses the newly developed MPC (multi-pass converter system) for low loss, and maximum gain. Wideband coverage and no adjustment is necessary, VSWR is less than 1 1:5. The antenna weighs in at 1.15kg, maximum power is rated at 300w, the base connector is an “N” type, and the mast requirements are between 30-62mm (clamps are included).
\nUsing Comet’s latest ABS joint system and heavy duty fiberglass, the GP-93 is the perfect antenna for tri-band operation. If used with the Comet CFX-431 you can enjoy triplex communication. If you have not tried operation on these three bands before, this Comet GP-93 is a great way to start, and is extremely easy to install and connect. Rigs like the Kenwood TS-2000, Icom IC-910, Icom IC-9700 etc etc with 23 cms options, are ideal for use with this antenna.
