Built without traps or lossy matching transformers, the MV7 delivers maximum efficiency, exceptional bandwidth, and outstanding power handling across all supported bands. Every component reflects Grazioli’s engineering philosophy: precision machining, premium materials, and rugged mechanical integrity. Perfect for operators who want a single, robust, wide coverage antenna with true long term reliability.

Main Features
Base-fed 1/4 λ Ground Plane multiband vertical antenna for the following HAM bands: 40, 20, 17, 15 12, 10 and 6m.
Extremely robust construction in AW6063-T66 aluminum alloy and CNC machined parts.
Supplied with quality 304 and 316 stainless steel hardware for long, rust-free service.
High input power, up to 1500W SSB @ 40m – 3Kw on other bands.
Detailed assembly manual and serial number identifying the production batch and construction data.
Static Protection: The antenna is DC-grounded to protect against atmospheric discharges and static buildup
The ground plane consists of four horizontal radials, each approximately 2.7m long, while the vertical stubs are supported by three cross-braces. The antenna is direct fed and connected to DC ground, helping to discharge atmospheric and electrostatic build-up. A custom UHF female connector with PTFE insulation and a gold plated centre pin is fitted for reliable RF connection.
Designed for a compact, high performance base station

The Choke to attenuate common mode currents:
The MV7 comes with an original FAIR-RITE FT240-43 ferrite toroid made in the USA for the “homemade” creation of your own high-performance choke. This feature significantly reduces common-mode currents in the HF band (1.8-30MHz), which could reduce the performance of your antenna.

Performance:
The MV7 is engineered for operators who demand efficiency and stability across multiple bands.
No traps = no trap losses
No transformers = no power bottlenecks
Resonant stubs ensure clean, efficient multiband operation
DBFC system provides a true 40m counterpoise without long wire radials
Optimized for low SWR and wide usable bandwidth
Radiation pattern simulations are performed using FEKO, the same electromagnetic modelling suite used in aerospace and defense applications.

Materials and Construction:
For our tubes, we used the best material available for antenna construction; this is the aluminum, magnesium, and silicon alloy called AW6063-T66, tempered to the T-66 state. This gives the whip exceptional strength, which is achieved through extrusion and then cold-drawn. Extremely robust in construction, the central whip uses tubes with a diameter of 42x2mm at the base and a diameter of 19×1.25mm at the tip, while the lateral stubs and the ground plane radials are made of telescopic tubes with diameters of 13 and 10mm. The ground plane is made of four horizontal radials approximately 2.7m long, and the vertical stubs are held in place by three cross-braces. The first, connected to the base of the whip, is made of rectangular-section aluminum tubes machined with CNC machines, and the other two are made of thermoplastic material: one with four arms in the middle section, and one with two arms at the top. All the screws are made of stainless steel, the pipes are fixed with sturdy quality clamps in AISl-316 stainless steel, the brackets, the screws, and the U-bolt and V-bolt are in AISl-304 stainless steel.

The UHF Connector:
The connector is not a commercial SO-239 type as used by most manufacturers. The connector was designed and manufactured directly by us, has a real impedance of 50 Ohms and is usable up to 500MHz. We have created a reliable connector capable of withstanding the transit of 5kW continuous CW at 30MHz and more than 3kW at 50MHz. The body is made of nickel-plated CW614N brass, while the spinet is 24K gold plated to prevent oxidation and is equipped with a 4-lug insulator that maintains its centering and elasticity, avoiding contact losses. The insulating part is made of PTFE, which is one of the best insulating materials due to its exceptional electrical (low dielectric constant and low loss factor) and thermal (operating temperature range from -100° to +260°) properties, and is protected by a special elastomer cap that prevents water and humidity infiltration.

The Anchor Bracket:
Made of 2.5 mm thick AISI304 stainless steel, it is secured to the antenna tube using a clamping system, creating an extremely robust mechanical lock. The mast is secured with M6 AISI304 V-bolts and pillar nuts for easy tightening.

Ideal For:
HF DXers
Operators with limited space who still want 40m performance
High‑power stations
Installations requiring long‑term mechanical reliability
Anyone wanting a premium, trap‑free multiband vertical.

Specifications:
Frequency Range: HF 40, 20, 17, 15, 12, 10 + VHF 6m
Maximum applicable power: 1500W SSB @ 40m – 3kW other bands
Surface area in the wind: 0.42m2
Wind resistance: (without ice) 130 km/h (against the wind)
Total Height: 8.97m
Stylus Length: 8.4m
Radial Length: 2.7m
Mounting pole: ø 40-54 mm
Net Weight: 8.5 kg
Materials: Cold-drawn tube in AW6063-T66 aluminum alloy, fiberglass, brass, and PTFE. Starting from these assumptions, we created the MV7, which, by using resonant elements (stubs) parallel to the central whip, allowed us to create an antenna efficient on all the bands covered.

ITEM PRICES ON SHIPPING ARRIVALS MV7: The Grazioli MV7 is a high‑performance, no‑compromise multiband vertical antenna designed for serious HF […]

[32,51

post-16764","product","type-product","status-publish","product_cat-antennas","product_cat-new-arrivals","first","instock","shipping-taxable","purchasable","product-type-simple
["GET
