Its tunable top whips allow precise adjustment across a 4 MHz bandwidth (26–30 MHz), making it perfect for CB, 10m amateur use, and skip chasing. Despite being shorter than the ½ wave version, the coil-enhanced top section boosts performance by one extra S-point and reduces receive noise compared to aluminium-based antennas like the Venom. The 14’3″ (4.35m) total length ensures stability in high winds while maintaining a compact footprint.
